Physical AI
for aerospace
engineering.
My name is Louis Lane, and I’m an applied Physical AI engineer and aerospace technical lead. At Luminary, I build Physics AI systems and production applications for hardware engineering teams, owning customer engagements from technical discovery through deployment and expansion. Previously at Blue Origin, I built and scaled simulation, test, and machine learning capabilities across in-space programs.

Three disciplines.
One engineering mindset.
The three pillars of my work are Technical Program Leadership, AI & Simulation, and Hardware Delivery. Check out each page to learn more about how I deliver results.
Technical Leadership
End-to-end ownership of complex engineering programs. From risk assessment and architecture to cross-team execution and delivery.
Explore disciplineAI & Simulation
Bringing machine learning and physics together to explore complex systems, optimize spacecraft, and build autonomous coordination strategies.
Explore disciplineHardware Delivery
Closing the loop between simulation and the physical world. Designing, building, and validating hardware for the systems and people who rely on it.
Explore disciplineComplex problems.
Tangible outcomes.
AI → Simulation → Hardware
01Physics AI for Aerodynamic Databases
More than two months saved per design iteration, with trained Physics AI models generating aerodynamic databases in under an hour.
02Meteoroid & Debris Shielding
End-to-end MMOD risk management across lunar and orbital space programs.
03Composite Meteoroid & Orbital Debris Shielding for NASA Artemis
Composite shielding from early trade studies through validation and flight certification.
Across lunar landers, orbital systems, and the hardware that makes them possible.
